Restorative Treatments
About the service
Restorative dentistry repairs teeth that have been damaged by decay, wear or injury, and replaces teeth that are missing. The right option depends on how much of the tooth is affected, so every restorative plan starts with an exam and, where needed, X-rays.
Small cavities are usually repaired with tooth-colored fillings. A tooth that is cracked or heavily filled may need a crown, a cap that covers the whole visible part of the tooth. Where a tooth is missing, a bridge or an implant-supported crown can fill the gap; we will explain how each one works, what the treatment involves and how long it takes.
Before any treatment begins, we go through the options with you, including their costs and what caring for them involves afterward, so you can decide what suits you.
